In the center of the background, Noah officiates at the sacrifice on an altar seen corner ways on. Giving thanks to the Lord for his salvation from the waters, the patriarch is wearing the same blood-red tunic that he wore when he was tilling the vineyard in the background of the Drunkenness of Noah. The work of assistants has been detected in the figure of Noah's wife on the right, surrounded by stiff outlines and modeled in a cursory manner, and also in one of the youths on the left who, lighting the fire under the altar with a torch, shields his face from the heat with his hand.
The seventh scene in the sequence order of the narrative, the Sacrifice of Noah, is described in the center of the vault of the third bay, between two pairs of ignudi with medallions. In the central panel, the work of art of which is derived from those of classical reliefs, Noah celebrates the sacrifice on an altar seen corner ways on, helped by other figures. In the chronological sequence of the biblical narration, the Sacrifice ought to follow and not precede the Deluge, but, apart from considerations relating to the typological interpretation of the scene, it is possible that Michelangelo preferred to put aside one of the largest panels in the ceiling for the Deluge.

Reproduction of oil painting is very expensive and a time taking process. The completed painting requires at least a week for drying completely. After that, we apply two layers of protective coating to secure the painting from dust and mold. Only completely dried painting can apply a coating or the painting will be damaged. The process of painting may take more than 4 weeks to 6 weeks based on the size and complexity.
For stretching, We will add a 1.6" additional white canvas border on all four sides for stretching purposes. We do not provide stretched canvas due to several issues. We cannot take the risk of damage while shipping. Also, there are size limitations for sending framed canvas. Shipping a large-sized stretched canvas might cost more than a painting itself. So we suggest you find a nearby local shop for the framing process.
